Bible 2460 ("the App") is developed and operated by Bible 2460 ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. The App is designed to operate entirely on your device. We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or share any personally identifiable information.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following preferences locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults API:

This data is stored solely on your device (and within your iCloud backup if you have enabled device backup). We have no access to it and it is never transmitted to us or any third party.

3. Third-Party Services

The App may connect to bible-api.com as a fallback when locally bundled verse data is unavailable. These requests contain only a scripture reference (e.g., "John 3:16") and do not include any personal information, device identifiers, or tracking parameters.

We do not integrate any analytics services, advertising networks, crash reporting tools, or other third-party SDKs that collect user data.

4. Tracking and Advertising

The App does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not use any advertising identifiers (IDFA), fingerprinting, or similar technologies. The App does not display advertisements.

5. Apple App Store

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain data in connection with your purchase or download of the App, subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your Apple ID, payment information, or App Store transaction data.

If you purchase a subscription through the App Store, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We do not process or store any payment information.

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since the App collects no personal data from any user, it is suitable for use by individuals of all ages.

7. Data Security

Because all data remains on your device and no personal information is transmitted, there is minimal risk of data breach. Your preferences are protected by the security measures built into your iOS device.

8. Your Rights

Since we do not collect, store, or process any personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, delete, or port. If you wish to remove the locally stored preferences, you can simply delete the App from your device.

Regardless of your location — including the European Economic Area (GDPR), California (CCPA/CPRA), or other jurisdictions with data protection laws — this App respects your privacy by design: no data is collected in the first place.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
